Postgraduate studies

Hi again! I’m happy to be here writing in my blog once again. This time, I will talk about the postgraduate course that I’d like to take in the future.

For being honest, I don’t know exactly the topic that I’d like to keep studying.  That’s something that I’ll resolve later, I hope. But I do know something; I really want to take a postgraduate course in Europe. My first option is England, because that country will give the chance to perfect my English, and with a very attractive accent. I think for now, that is the most important thing for me, I mean learn English, not the accent. But anyway, will be funny come back to Chile and talk like people do in Harry Potter.

My idea is study and work at the same time, because some way I have to live there and make some money to have fun there. I have to confess that having fun in partys and all that stuff it is another thing important about the travel. Not only because I like to party, also because I think that hang out with people of different cultures is a very good way to learn about the country, and perfect the English, of course. Well, for do that I have to make some money. I still don’t know how, but some job I will find for sure.

My future job

Hi everyone. This new post will be about the job I’d like to have in the future.  For being honest, the only thing that I really know is that I would like to work as a sociologist. I think it will be interesting working doing research, It always be exiting doing research about things that I like, but I’m not sure if I want to give all my life to the academy. Maybe I can do that for some time and then start my own project, working with people from other disciplines and giving my sociological point of view, really important for any organization, I think.  It will definitely be an indoors work, but it is fine to me.

I love to travel, so if my work doesn’t make me travel, I hope to have a salary that gives me that chance.  Well, I don’t expect to have a millionaire salary, but with being comfortable and have money for having fun I’m fine.

About the major,  I really don’t know what area of the sociology I like more, I think that’s a thing that I will resolve when I graduate. What I do know, is that I have the intention of complement my studies with a travel to perfect my English.

Italy

Hi everybody. Now I´m in English 4, the last level. Hopefully in a few weeks I will go to the interview that will let me exempt of complete the asignature at the rest of the year. But well, that's a thing that I have no control. The teacher is the only one who can give me that option, I really hope that coud happen. If I wont write again, my hope came true.

But well, today´s work its write about a country I'd like to visit. In my case, that country is Italy. Deedly, I'd like to travel around all Europe, but if I have to choose one country, I choose Italy. The principal reason of that choice is the architecture, especially the buildings that were build a long time ago. I'm talking about the roman constructions, also the constructions made at the Renaissanse. I have the idea that beeing in Italy, you can touch the walls and feel the History in your hands, but well, in most of the european continent that happens, or I think so at least. So if I go to Italy I will certanly travel around the rest of the european countries.

If you ask me if I'd would study there, I'd do. But I will have a problem speeking italian, thats why if I have to study in some European country, I'd would do it in England, it is a beautifull country too, and I will have less problems in matter of lenguaje. 

Latin American Social History

In this semester, I have six subjects, but there are not a subject that I really love “with all my heart”. But if a have to choose one of them, i’d choose Latin American Social History, by the Porfesor Octavio Avendaño.

The thing that  I like about this subject, is that almost all the content of the subject,  I learned in my school, but this time, we learn the history in a different way, the profesor talk about the social history. I mean, we dont learn only general information about latin american history, the teacher put the emphasis in thing that generally doesn’t teach in school, like how the social groups influence on the history process or the different interpretattions of historical facts. Thats what we do in the class and why I like this subject.

The subject starts with the colony period, then we learn about the Independence, the anarchy period, the time with the oligarchy in the power,  the populism,  the authoritarian times, and the structural changes, and the neoliberal reforms.

Another thing that i like, is learn about another latin amircan countrys, because before this subject, I didn know much about them, only about chilean history. 

LA RENGA

Hi everyone. I dont really have only one favorite band or singer. In fact, I dont have a favorite kind of music, I am very open mind about that. My mom likes metal music, so since 2013, I have learned about that kind of music and rock too. If I have to talk about a band, I´d choose La Renga, a rock band from Argentina. This is one of my favorite bands, I think the lyrics are very good and also the voice of the singer. The songs of this band have been part of my life for a long time, so I really like "La Renga".
The band was formed in Mataderos, Argentina. Actually, in La Renga sing and play the guitar Gustavo "Chizzo" Nápoli, in the bass plays Gabriel Iglesias, in the drums Jorge Iglesias, and the most recent member is Gabriel Sanchez, playing the saxophone.
Is very difficult talk about only one song and say that is my favorite, but I'd choose a song called "Hablando de la libertad", from the album "Despedazado por mil partes". Its a very powefull song and very pretty in my opinion. I dont need to talk more about this song, its enought with read this part of the chorus: "Morir queriendo ser libre, encontrar mi lado salvaje,
ponerle alas a mi destino, romper los dientes de este engranaje".

My best friend

I have known a lot of firends in my life,  first in the school and now in the university, with every one I have lived many funny, happy and also sad experiences. But of all those friends, there is one that is my best friend. His name is Cristián Morales Weibel.

I met him when I was five years old, in the school. At the same time, our mothers become friends too, so we saw each other almost every day. Since then, we become best friends until now.

He is my best friends because with him I have lived  more experiences than anyone. Practically, his family is my family, and he think the same.

I can’t say that I have one best memory with him, because there are a lot of them, especially in the partys, but most of them are secrets.

 

Hi everyone. Today we are in the modern time, so is very difficult be away of the technology. I have pieces of technology like Playstation 3, a computer, a cellphone, but my favorite piece of technology is my T.V.I have the t.v. since 2010, it was a gift from my dad in my birthday.

There aren`t something better than be in home lay down watching t.v., maybe some movie in netflix or a good serie. For increase the pleasure, Iyou can cook something and eat while your watching t.v., is a good experience, I recommend.

I watch t.v generally at night before get sleep, but when I can I do it. I think t.v. is very funny and give good moments, but isn’t really necesary or essential for life, so i could live perfectly without my t.v.
